    • PURPOSE:To maintain instruments in preferably condition at all times by a method wherein air, heated by heat generating instruments, is introduced into a ventilating space by a ventilating fan to cool it to a proper temperature by a cooling unit while the cooled air is returned into a space, in which desks and the like are provided, from an air outlet port through a partitioning under the condition of breeze. CONSTITUTION:A ventilating space 3, partitioned from the vicinity of heat generating instruments 20 so as to be communicated with a hollow partitioning 1, is provided below the top plate 21 of a desk 2 while a fan 4 is installed near an air inlet port 30 in the space 3 and a cooling unit 5 is installed near a communicating port 31 between the ventilating space 3 and the partitioning 1 respectively. Air outlet ports 10, consisting of a multitude of small holes, are provided on a surface faced to the heat generating instruments 20 in the comparatively upper part of the partitioning 1. Air in the space, in which the heat generating instruments 20 are installed, is guided into the space 3 by the operation of the fan 4 and is cooled by the cooling unit 5 to a proper temperature, then, is returned to the side where the desk 2 is installed from the upper air outlet ports 10 through the partitioning 1 under the condition of breeze.

    • PURPOSE:To sufficiently exhibit evaporation function while maintaining the level of an operating liquid to the same by providing a cooling unit for every beating equipment, providing the cooling unit with an inner tube wherein an evaporation portion is inserted via an outer tube and a narrow communication gap and constructing by a plurality of pipes communicating upper and lower end portions with upper and lower header tubes. CONSTITUTION:A heating equipment 2 is mounted in a portion partitioned by partitions 1 on each stair (a) of a building. A cooling unit 3 is mounted in adjacent to the heating equipment 2. The cooling unit 3 is constructed such that the upper and lower end portions of several pipes 30 are let communicate with out another by upper and lower header tubes 31 and 32, respectively. The upper and lower header tubes 31 and 32 communicate with pipings 6 and 5 of a vapor phase refrigerant and a liquid phase refrigerant, respectively. Each pipe 30 is composed of an outer pipe 30a, an inner pipe 30b and a small communicating gap 30c therebetween. Since an operating liquid (b) boils in the communicating gap 30c and generated bubbles (c) rise in the communicating gap 30c while rapidly expanding to push up the operating liquid (b), the liquid (b) reaches the upper end of the inner pipe 30b and falls in the inner pipe 30b whereby a stable operation is obtained without a decrease in a thermal conductivity.

    • PURPOSE:To dispense with any special liquid quantity control even when each cooling unit is installed at a position different in height from others, by providing cooling units having first heat exchangers disposed in stories different in height and by providing second heat exchangers provided at higher positions than the cooling units. CONSTITUTION:Each of air-conditioning units 33a, 33b,... as cooling units disposed on the side to be air-conditioned is provided in the middle of a cool water pipe system 30 of forced circulation and cooled by a heat exchanger 31 disposed at a little higher position than each air-conditioning unit and by a gravity-type heat pipe 32 connecting the airconditioning units. A refrigerant inside the gravity-type heat pipe 32 is cooled to be condensed by the heat exchanger 31 and the condensed refrigerant is returned to each air-conditioning unit through a level controller 34. The liquid-phase refrigerant flowing into each of the air-conditioning units 33a, 33b,... is subjected to heat exchange with air on the side to be air-conditioned and vaporized and returns to the heat exchanger 31 through the heat pipe 32.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an effective production of boiled state and improve a thermal conductivity by a method wherein there are provided an outer pipe and an inner pipe shorter than the outer pipe and located within an evaporating part of the outer pipe and an inner surface of the outer pipe is formed with a proper number of concave parts or projections corresponding to an outer surface at a lower end of the inner pipe. CONSTITUTION:A cooling unit 3 is comprised of several copper pipes having a specified length arranged in parallel while being raised upright, an upper header pipe 31 and a lower header pipe communicating with an upper end and a lower end of each of the pipes 30 to each other. In this case, each of the pipes 30 is comprised of an outer pipe 30a and an inner pipe 30b arranged within the outer pipe 30a through a narrow flowing clearance 30c and having a length not reaching at its upper end to the upper header pipe 31. The inner pipe 30b is fixed by abutting some projections 30d substantially equally spaced apart circumferentially at its lower end against the outer pipe 30a. A proper number of concave portions 30e are formed at an inside part of the outer pipe 30a at positions corresponding to the outer surfaces of the lower end portions of the inner pipe 30b, these portions are functioned as boiling cavities and then working liquid is boiled up.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control system by which a vibration condition (hunting) in which the changeover of preheat operation/snow-melting operation is unstable, can be prevented. SOLUTION: An operation control system for snow-melting equipment is provided with a road-surface moisture detector 1, a road-surface temperature setting means 2 for setting the road-surface setting temperature by the output of the road-surface moisture detector 1, and a road-surface temperature control means 3 for controlling the setting temperature of the road-surface temperature. The road-surface temperature setting means 2 sets the snow- melting temperature for T1 in the condition that the road-surface moisture is a specified condition A1 on a wetter side that a reference road-surface moisture A0 or further in a wetter condition, and it sets the preheat temperature for T2 in the condition that the road- surface moisture is a prescribed condition A2 on a dryer side than a reference road-surface moisture A0 or further in a dryer condition; and between the condition A1 and the condition A2, the equipment is provided with a road-surface moisture judging part 2a by which the snow-melting temperature is set for T1 when the road-surface moisture changed from the condition A1 to A2, while the preheat temperature is set for T2 when it changed from the condition A2 to A1; and with an off-delay timer 2b for maintaining the set temperature for a prescribed time after changeover, after the setting temperature has been changed over.
