    • PURPOSE:To achieve change-over of air-conditioning modes by a single action, by disposing a rotary damper inside a distribution housing which has a cylindrical side face and making openings of outlets in the side walls thereof, respectively directed to a driver's seat and an assistant driver's seat, and making another one in the cylindrical face directed to rear seats. CONSTITUTION:A change-over damper 14 closes a defroster outlet 11 in a cooler mode, and opens it in both heater and defroster modes, whole a change-over damper 15 opens and closes a cooler outlet 12 in reverse to the damper 14. A rotary damper 17, in the cooler mode, closes outlets 13a, 13b for a driver's seat and an assistant's seat as well as closing an outlet 13c for the rear seats with its part 17g. When the rotary damper is turned until a change-over hole 17f1 is matched with the outlet 13c, change-over holes 17d, 17e at the both sides thereof are respectively communicated with the outlets 13a, 13b to present a heater mode. In association with further turning, the heater modes are successively changed over in the priority order of the driver's seat, another seat rear seats only, and the front seats only.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain comfortable air conditioning in rear seats in four seasons by arranging heat exchangers respectively outside, in the front, and in the rear of a car room for using two heat exchangers in the car room for refrigerant evaporation at the time of cooling and the rear heat exchanger for refrigerant condensation at the time of heating. CONSTITUTION:At the time of cooling, a refrigerant is conducted by the second three-way valve 12 and the first three-way valve 14 as arrows (a) show. The first heat exchanger 2 is used for a refrigerant condenser, while the second heat exchanger 4 and the third heat exchanger 5 are used for refrigerant evaporators. At this stage, the third heat exchanger 5 is intercepted by the first switch valve 6 at need. At the time of heating, compressed refrigerant is returned to a compressor 1 via the third heat exchanger 5 and the second heat exchanger 4 as dotted line arrows (b) show. The third heat exchanger 5 is used for a condenser, while the second heat exchanger 4 for an evaporator. The air passed through the second heat exchanger 4 is reheated by a heater 11, and blown off into a car room. This construction permits to obtain comfortable air conditioning in rear seats in four seasons.

    • PURPOSE:To increase maneuverability by making a temperature setting lever controllable within optional moving range in such a way that a lever for setting blow-off air temperature from an air conditioner for automobile, and another lever are made possible to be freely interfered by one another, and the other lever is mde possible to be fixed at the optional position. CONSTITUTION:A hollow inserting part 1c of a shaft 2 which provides pins 3, 4 at the upper and lower parts on one end side is inserted into a long hole 1a at the other end of a shat 1 at one end of which a 1b is installed, so that a temperature setting lever is formed. On another hand, a lever 6 which is mounted to be freely movably up and down by a pin 8 is installed on a hollow mover 9 to move through a guide 7 which provides saw-tooth shaped projection 7a at the upper side. And the lever 6 is engaged and disengaged with and from the projection 7a of the guide 7 moving freely up and down by means of a knob 6a. Besides, the pin 3 of the shaft 1 is engaged with a convex part 5 which is mounted on the upper face of the mover 9 so as to obstruct the movement of the temperature setting lever. Thus, moving range of the temperature setting lever can be restrained by controlling the lever 6.
