The fuel pump 4 is thereby stopped positively even if the power supply line 8 and the signal output line 9 have earth potential, and the simplification of the signal output line 9 and the compactness and serenity of a fuel pump control device 1 are attained without harming safety.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize a device and reduce the cost, by boosting power with the oscillation signal of an oscillating circuit in a power control section, and by using the output for the control signal of the switching elements of an inverter section. CONSTITUTION:The control circuit of AC power switches the operation of an inverter section consisting of switching elements Q1-Q6 on and off by the control signal of high potential. The circuit has a power control section for controlling the effective value of power fed to an AC load M, and executes PWM control 30 on oscillation signal from an oscillating circuit 32 built in. The control circuit is provided with a booster circuit 10, and by the booster circuit 10, the power of a specified multiplying factor is boosted with the oscillation signal from the oscillating circuit 32. Besides, the output of the booster circuit 10 is connected to the switching control terminals of the switching elements Q1-Q6 of the inverter section, and is used for the voltage of high potential.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a load driving circuit equipped with a diagnostic function which can eliminate the port of a diagnostic control circuit. CONSTITUTION:At a control signal generating circuit 13, (a) output is set at 'L' corresponding with the turning on of an air conditioning switch 11, and a load 12 is operated by setting a terminal 131 at 'H' and turning on an MON transistor 16 of a diagnosis control circuit 15. When an overcurrent flows to the MOS transistor 16, an MOS transistor 19 for detection is turned on by an overcurrent detection circuit 18, and the terminal 131 is set at 'L', and at the same time, the MOS 16 for control is turned off. At this point, since the electric current is lowered, an output from the overcurrent detection circuit 18 becomes 'L', the MOS transistor 16 is turned on, and an overcurrent flows again, and an overload is detected, and an oscillating motion takes place. This oscillating motion appears on the terminal 131, and is monitored as a monitor output, and by the oscillation of the monitor output, the overcurrent of the MOS transistor 16 is judged, and the (a) output is fixed at 'H'.
