    • PURPOSE:To reduce the operating load of a driver by controlling the steering angle after discriminating a traveling lane from the video signal which photographed the traveling direction of a car. CONSTITUTION:TV cameras 3a and 3b are attached with a space to a car 1, and the video signals of these cameras are supplied to an arithmetic processor 2 to calculate the distance to a preceding car 6. This calculated distance is displayed on a display 4, and at the same time a driving system is controlled in relation to the traveling speed of the car obtained by the signal sent from a speed sensor 5. Then a traveling lane is discriminated from the video signal by a discriminating means, and a steering angle control actuator is controlled so that the traveling lane gets into the prescribed video regions of cameras 3a and 3b. Thus the traveling direction is changed for self-traveling of the car 1.

    • PURPOSE:To improve economy and mount performance onto a vehicle by providing a phase control means outputting a signal in opposite phase to an inputted electric signal and a changeover means switching the phase control means to a 1st or a 2nd conversion means. CONSTITUTION:A phase control means 7 is connected to a 1st conversion means 3 with a changeover means 8, the phase control means 7 outputs an electric signal of an opposed phase to an inputted electric signal from the 1st conversion means 3 to cancel a sound propagated in a duct and a sound discharged into the duct from a discharge means 33. When the phase control means 7 is connected to a 2nd conversion means 5 with the changeover means 8 the electric signal in opposite phase to the inputted electric signal from the 2nd conversion means 5 is outputted. In this case, the electric signal inputted to a receiving means 51 is converted into sound and the sound collected by a transmission means 53 and propagated in the cabin is converted into an electric signal to attain the communication between the inside of the cabin and the communication destination. Thus, the in-duct noise is reduced and the echo on the communication path is prevented by providing only one phase control means to enhance the economy and the mount performance onto the vehicle.
