    • PURPOSE: To improve a noise suppressive effect ever so better, by altering a type of copper oxide to be sprayed and a compounding ratio of alumina mixed in this copper oxide, in case of such one that has a spray rotor provided with a high resitance layer in its rotor electrode tip as being used for radio interference suppression.
      CONSTITUTION: In this ignition distributor, an abrasive of burned aumina or the like is sprayed to a tip of a rotor electrode 2 of a distributor rotor 3 and the said part is scraped. Next, after preheating the rotor electrode 2, nickel aluminide is sprayed in high temperature plasma and a base sprayed layer is formed in the tip part of the rotor electrode 2. Afterward, copper oxide in composition of Cu
      2 O 10W50% + CuO 90W50% as a metallic oxide having high electrical resistance and alumina or being a metallic oxide stable in a high temperature ambience and, what is more, becoming a good conductor are mixed, then such one made up of setting a powder mixed ratio of alumina down to a range of 70W90% is sprayed in high temperature plasma whereby a desired sprayed layer 1 is installed in the tip part of the rotor electrode 2.

    • PURPOSE:To embed a terminal metal in a coupling part in a proper attitude, by a method wherein the terminal metal is mounted to the terminal part of an ignition cable, a carrier part is secured to a mold, molding is effected in a manner that the forward end of the terminal metal remains not to be molded, and thereafter, the carrier is removed. CONSTITUTION:A terminal metal 10 is mounted to the end part of an ignition cable 5, and a carrier part 20, extended by a slight distance, and a notche 21 are formed thereon. The terminal metal 10 and an ignition cable 5 are inserted into a cavity 18, the carrier part 20 is welded by pressure and is fastened, and molding is effected in a manner that only a forward part 10' remains not to be molded. Thereafter, the carrier part 20 is broken from the notch 21 to remove it, and molding takes place. This enables the terminal metal to be embedded in a juncture in a proper attitude.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent radiation of noise-wave and reduce the electrostatic capacity of a high voltage cord by applying a conductive cord cover which encloses the high- voltage cord into a bellows-shaped tube and connecting the said cord cover to the conductive cover installed onto ignition devices. CONSTITUTION:The first cord cover 90 made of soft conductive rubber is formed into the bellows-shaped tube having the mountain part 91 and the valley part 92 connected alternately. The cover 90 is installed onto the first high-voltage cord 41, and a space 95 is formed between the mountain part 90 and the outer periphery of the cord 40. Also the second cord cover 100 is formed basically likewise to the first cover 90 and installed onto the second high-voltage cord 50. A space 105 is formed between the mountain part 101 of the cover 100 and the outer periphery of the cord 50. The cover 90 is electrically connected with a coil cover 60 and a discover 70 and grounded, and the cover 100 is connected with the discover 70 and a plug cover 30 and grounded. Therefore, each high-voltage cord 40, 50 as the wave- noise radiation source is shiedlded, and the samll value of electrostatic capacity can be kept in each space 95, 105.

Also, effect can last for a long term owing to the simple structure.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the strength of the welded or heat caulked part so as to prevent breaking of the rotor electrode, by enlarging the cross section area of the welded or heat caulked part of the rotor electrode made of electrically conductive ceramics. CONSTITUTION:Plural projections 1c are formed on the edge of an enlarged recess 1a of the rotor main body 1 made of resin. A rotor electrode 2 made of conductive ceramics is inserted to the recess 1a of the rotor main body 1, and the upper parts of the projections 1c are welded or heat caulked so as to fix the rotor electrode 2 to the rotor main body 1. Thus, as the cross section area of the welded or heat caulked part of the rotor electrode 2 is enlarged, its strength is improved. As a result, breaking of the rotor electrode can be prevented.
