    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method and its apparatus for quickly and precisely detecting an organoarsenic chemical agent such as lewisite, diphenylcyanoarsine and diphenylchloroarsine contained in the air even if a concentration is very low.
      SOLUTION: After the air containing the organoarsenic chemical agent is sampled by an air sampling pipe 1 and transmitted through an adsorption agent layer comprising a heat resistance resin e.g. a diphenylphenyleneoxide structure and filled in an adsorption pipe 2, and the organoarsenic chemical agent is selectively trapped, a derivatization agent e. g. 1,2-ethane dithiol is added to the adsorption agent layer from a derivatization agent injecting pipe 3, and the organoarsenic chemical agent weak in heat is converted into a derivative with a thermal stability. The adsorption agent layer is heated by a heater 4 at a temperature of ≥250°C. The derivative of the organoarsenic chemical agent is thermally desorbed from the adsorption agent, introduced into a gas analyzer 5 such as GC-MS, and analyzed.
