摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an electrogalvanized steel sheet having high whiteness by which excellent coating suitability is imparted to the surface of an electrogalvanized steel sheet. SOLUTION: A cold rolled steel sheet is electrogalvanized, which is thereafter brought into contact with a solution for chemical conversion treatment contg. 10 to 20g/L phosphoric acid ions, 1 to 15g/L nitric acid ions, 0.5 to 1.5g/L zinc ions, at least one kind selected from fluoride ions and complex fluoride ions by 0.1 to 1.0g/L expressed in terms of fluorine and magnesium ions and nickel ions by 2.1 to 4.2g/L in total, in which the weight ratio (Mg/Ni ratio) of the magnesium ions and nickel ions is also regulated to the range of (0.05:1) to (0.25:1), and the ratio of the total acidity/free acidity is regulated to 10 to 17 at 50 to 70 deg.C for 1 to 10sec. Thus, a chemical film in which the film weight is regulated to 0.1 to 2.0g/m and having >=55 whiteness (L value) is formed to produce the electrogalvanized steel sheet having high whiteness and excellent in coating suitability.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post treatment coating which prevents peeling of plated film and die galling which occur on forming an aluminum plated steel sheet used for building materials, is a low temperature baking type though having equal or better corrosion resistance than a conventional one, and can be manufactured inline. SOLUTION: The post treatment coating is prepared by applying a resin composition on the surface of the aluminum plated steel sheet manufactured with an electroplating or hot dipping method, to form a film having a dry film thickness of 0.1-4.5 μm. The resin composition is prepared by adding lubricant of 0.5-20 mass% and chromium of 0.5-3 mass % by mass ratio for solid content of the following dispersion substance, into the water-soluble dispersion substance of the modacrylic copolymerized substance, which contains an unsaturated ethyleny monomer having a carboxyl group and an unsaturated ethyleny monomer having a glycidyl group, and in addition, a reactive emulsifying agent having an unsaturated polymerizing group of 0.1-30 mass% for all monomers.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based metal-surface-treating composition being excellent in the corrosion inhibition of an injured part and used to form a highly functional surface-treated steel sheet excellent in corrosion resistance and adhesion of a coated film by mixing a water-soluble or water-dispersible urethane-modified acrylic resin with a curing agent, silica and a wax in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: A water-soluble or water-dispersible urethane-modified acrylic resin (A) is mixed with a curing agent (B), silica (C) and a wax (D) in such a mixing ratio that the ratio of the weight of the solid matter of components A and B is 50-95wt.% based on the total weight of the solid matter, the ratio of the weight of the solid matter of component C is 3-40wt.%, the ratio of the weight of the solid matter of component D is 2-40wt.%, and the ratio A/B is 4-49 in terms of the weight of the solid matter. Component A is for example a reaction product of an acrylpolyol with an isocyanate or a reaction product of an acrylic resin with a low-molecular-weight urethane resin and is desirably one having a polyolefin skeleton. Component B is desirably a compound having an epoxy, isocyanate, oxazoline or aziridinyl group.

The processing soln contg. such a surface-treating agent is controlled to pH2.0 to 7.0, and the soln. is applied on the surface of a metallic material and dried to deposit a film. The coating quantity is appropriately controlled to 0.01 to 5.0g/m .

The weight ratio of components (A) to (B) is 1/9-9/1 and the amount of the component (C) is 2-90wt. pts. based on 100 pts. of the total of the components (A) and (B). The lubricating membrane is formed by coating and drying the composition on a metallic material, etc.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart excellent lubricity and solvent resistance to the surface of an aluminum alloy by forming ground surface films on the surface, then applying a specific ethylenic ionomer resin, an org. crosslinking agent having a functional group and an aq. org. high-polymer resin compsn. on the surface of the films and drying the coatings, thereby forming coating layers of a type not requiring the removal of the films. SOLUTION: The surface of the aluminum alloy are first treated with an aq. soln. contg. ions of metals such as Cr, Zr and Ti to form the ground surface films on it. Next, the ethylenic ionomer resin of which the resin skeleton is formed of ethylene and α,β-unsatd. carboxylic acid and which is 0.05-0.2 in the weight ratio thereof to ethylene and is neutralized with the metal ions, an org. crosslinking agent which has the functional group, such as epoxy, in the amt. of 10 to 70% of the equiv. to the unneutralized carboxyl group in the resin and the aq. org. high-polymer resin compsn. contg. petroleum wax or polyethylene wax are applied on the ground surface films. The coatings are thereafter dried, by which the coating layers of 0.1 to 10μm of the type of requiring the removal of the films are formed.

An aqueous chromate solution is prepared so that it has a composition comprising 1.0 to 40.0g/l of each of Cr and Cr , 0.4 to 100g/l phosphate ions and at least one compound selected from water- soluble glycol ethers and polyvinyl alcohol, wherein: the Cr /Cr ratio by weight is 0.25 to 4.0; the (phosphate ions)/(total Cr ions) ratio by weight is 0.1 to 2.5; the (water-soluble glycol ether, etc.)/Cr ratio by weight is 0. 1 to 0.5; and if necessary, the (solid content of silica sol)/(total Cr) ratio by weight is 0.1 to 6.0. Then the surface of the Zn based metal electroplated steel sheet is coated with this aqueous chromate solution in a 5 to 200mg/m coating weight expressed terms of Cr and then dried at 60 to 200 deg.C.

CONSTITUTION:This composite zinc film is obtained by incorporating a magnesium compd. soluble in a 0.01 N hydrochloric acid soln. by 0.01-50%, expressed in terms of Mg, into a zinc film or the film of a zinc alloy consisting essentially of zinc. The Mg ion in the film effectively inhibits the corrosion of zinc. The magnesium hydroxide, magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, etc., contg. the magnesium soluble in acid are exemplified as the magnesium compd. Any metal soluble in acid and with the contained Mg capable of being ionized can be used instead of the inorg, compd. When the Mg content of the composite film is beyond the above-mentioned limits, corrosion resistance is insufficient, and the composite zinc film is formed by the impregnation method or the dispersion plating method.
