    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater cruising object launching device capable of launching an underwater cruising object in a very short time. SOLUTION: The launching device has a launching opening 19 at a front end of the device and is provided with a launching tube 15 having a suction port 20 at a part nearby a rear end of the device, a pushing member 17 connected with one end of a tension spring 16 provided by the side of an underwater cruising object 1 inside the launching tube 15 and facing a rear end of the underwater launching object 1 and capable of moving toward a front end of the launching tube 15, a retaining mechanism 18 capable of retaining the pushing member 17 on the launching tube 15 in a tensile state of the tension spring 16, a front diaphragm 21 for covering the launching opening 19, a suction diaphragm 22 for covering the suction port 20, and a breaking mechanism 31 for breaking the suction diaphragm 22 at a time when the pushing member 17 moves toward the launching opening 19, wherein liquid 32 is felled into the launching tube 15.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate a bending force applying to an underwater traveling body in launching the underwater traveling body by providing a front door provided in a launch port so as to be opened/closed freely in such a state as opened toward a vessel advancing direction and obstructing the water flow from the vessel advancing direction. SOLUTION: Then an underwater traveling body 2 is launched, a front door 5 is opened at approximately 90 deg. in a vessel advancing direction 13 so as to open a launch port 4. Then, a submarine is navigated so that there is a relative water flow 29 flowing rearward from the front part of the advancing direction 13 in the adjacent to the launch port 4. The front door 5 is opened at approximately 90 deg. frontward in the advancing direction 13 so that the water flow 2 is eliminated from directly abutting against the underwater traveling body 2 to be launched from the launch port 4. The underwater traveling body 2 is also eliminated from touching with a launching cylinder 3 so as to prevent a large bending force from acting on the underwater traveling body 2. As a result, the underwater traveling body 2 can be stably navigated on a route as aimed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an underwater sound source to withstand long-time operation and generate accurate sounds by inserting diaphragms, which are excited in water into a sealing chamber sectioned in the air chamber housing of the underwater sound source, while a gap is left and providing an elastic tube filled with fluid in the gap. SOLUTION: On the inner peripheral side of the join part between a housing part 5 and a pressure plate 6, a sealing chamber 7 is sectioned and formed. On the inner peripheral side of the sealing chamber 7, an opening part 11 is formed and a diaphragm 3 is inserted into the sealing chamber 7 from the opening part 11, while the specific gap is left. In the gap 15 at the periphery of the diaphragm 3 in the sealing chamber 7, a couple of elastic tubes 16 are provided which come into contact with both the surface sides of the water side and air side of the diaphragm 3. The elastic tubes 16 are formed of rubber or members having a coefficient nearly equal to that of rubber and formed into a ring shape along the peripheral edge part of the diaphragm 3. Furthermore, the elastic bodies are filled with a fluid consisting of gas or liquid.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a payload separation device of a missile that can separate a payload from an aerial propulsion device without using any powder with light and simple structure. SOLUTION: In the payload separation device of a missile, an aerial propulsion device 3 is provided at the rear of a payload 2 such as an underwater cruising body for composing a missile 1, and the payload 2 is separated from the aerial propulsion device 3 when the missile 1 lands on the water. The device is provided with a support band 12 for clamping the payload 2 and the aerial propulsion device 3 by surrounding them from the peripheral direction and a band stopper 21 for fixing the support band 12 while being engaged to it, retaining the connected state between the payload 2 and the aerial propulsion device 3, and at the same time canceling the clamping of the support band 12 while breaking away from the support band 12 due to a fluid pressure being received when the missile 1 lands on the water.

The oscillating fins 5 are reciprocatingly oscillated through the oscillating shafts 4 to provide a driving force and a change of a driving direction and a control of an attitude of the underwater traveling craft 1 can be carried out.
