    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide obviously whether a mask is accurate by applying the black-white inversion to the mask range that is set by a mask range setting circuit and outputting all black areas. SOLUTION: The mask data on a mask range setting circuit 2 are sent to a mask-inverting circuit 3, in response to a recording operation. The circuit 3 sets a mask-inverting instruction (S/W) by a control program and sends the inverted mask data to an OR circuit 4, in response to a recording operation. The circuit 4 secures an OR between the image data received from an image memory 1 and the inverted mask data received from the circuit 3 and sends the recording data to an LD(laser diode) light-emitting part 5 in response to a recording operation. The part 5 makes the LD emit the light, based on the recording data and in response to a recording operation. When the recording data are recorded on the photosensitive recording paper, the light emission output of the part 5 is exposed directly onto the recording paper and then developed, thereby completing the recording operation.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent repetition of useless communication such that a memory of receiver side facsimile equipment exceeds the capacity on the way of communication resulting in disabling reception. SOLUTION: When image data are stored in a memory 2 and a free capacity of the memory is used up soon, the memory exceeds the capacity and the memory no longer stores data. When a memory over detection circuit 5 detects occurrence of memory over, a memory over signal is transmitted to a communication control part 3. The communication control part 3 adds a memory-over signal to a protocol end signal of a facsimile communication advice via a memory over signal notice circuit 7 and informs it to a transmitter side and disconnects a line. At the transmitter side, when a memory over signal detection circuit 8 detects the memory over signal, no re-transmission is conducted and the number of pages sent just now is stored and when the free capacity of the memory 2 is increased more than the memory capacity of image data of a receding page, the receiver side makes dialing to the transmitter side to conduct re-transmission.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deviation in images to a degree not to be recognized by naked eyes even when two images different in line density are intermingled by deciding a recording start position of image data based on the number of correction pixels of respective line density parts where a relative error of correction distances is minimized. SOLUTION: A relative error of correction distances D1, D2 of respective line density parts is calculated based on correction pixel numbers Z1, Z2 of respective line density parts calculated from a deviation N and a relative error Gn of the correction distances D1, D2 is calculated by gradually increasing/ decreasing the correction pixel numbers Z1, Z2. Then a combination of the correction pixel numbers Z1, Z2 of respective line density parts to minimize the relative error Gn of the correction distances D1, D2 is decided and a recording start position of image data is decided based on the correction pixel numbers Z1, Z2. Thus, even when two images different in line density are intermingled, a relative deviation of a recording positions of the images is minimized.
