    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to make fine adjustment for positioning a carrier vehicle to a given position with small force, by providing a floating device for jetting compressed air from an air bag to the carrier vehicle carrying a heavy load to form an air layer between the vehicle and the ground, by which the vehicle hovers. CONSTITUTION:Floating devices 15 are arranged in four positions on a carrier vehicle 1 which is normally moved by means of two drive wheels 7, 8 and two free wheels (not shown). Each floating device 14 has a swingable member 42 which is journalled, in its middle part, to a shaft 41 supported between brackets 40 secured to the frame 4 of the carrier vehicle. The swingable member 42 is connected, at its one end, the front end of a piston rod 46 in a fluid cylinder 45 through a coupling member 47 and, is journalled, at its the other end, to the rising part 51 of a bearing plate 50 which is provided, at its lower surface, with an air bag 49, by means of a bearing 48. When compressed air fed into the air bag 49 is jetted through air jet holes 51 in a suitable number formed in the lower surface of the air bag 49, the carrier vehicle 1 hovers by the reaction force of the jetted air.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent variation of the load-carrying surface on transferring of a load onto a truck by abutting an abutting member on the ground side against the bottom surface of an auxiliary bumper on the truck side and locking the same. CONSTITUTION:When a truck 6 is moved backwardly, a roller 7 on the ground side goes ahead along a tilting surface 9b of an auxiliary bumper 9 and then the bottom surface 9a and is stopped, when the auxiliary bumper 9 comes in abutment against a positioning stopper 22. Then, a directional control valve of a fluid cylinder 14 is switched by the display of a proximity sensor 14 to lock a piston rod 15 of the cylinder 14. When a load on a traverser is transferred onto the truck 6, the load applied to a load-carrying platform is increased, but as the bottom surface 9a of the auxiliary bumper on the undersurface of the load carrying platform is kept in abutment against the roller 7 of a lever 10 locked by the cylinder 14, the load-carrying platform 6a will not be depressed.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of a cargo-carrying platform of a truck, by a method wherein, when the truck is positioned, the slewing force of a 2-arm lever on the ground surface side brought into contact with the auxiliary bamper of the truck is prevented from production by means of the weight of the truck or a brake force. CONSTITUTION:A 2-arm lever 12, branched into first and second levers 10 and 11, is rockably supported to a horizontal shaft 8, supported to brackets 9 on the ground surface side and extended at right angles with an entrance direction 7 of a truck, and first and second contact surfaces 20 and 18 are formed on an auxiliary bamper 17 on the track side. A truck 6 is reversed, the contact surface 20 of the bamper 17 is first brought into contact with a roller 13 of the lever 10, and with the further progress of reversing of the truck, the lever 12 is turned, and when a part of the bamper 17 is brought into a stopper 22 of the bracket 9, a roller 14 of the other lever 11 is brought into contact with an under horizontal plane 18 of the bamper 17. Even when a cargo-carrying platform is about to be lowered due to an increase in a load, the lever 12 is prevented from rocking, and this prevents lowering of a cargo-carrying platform 21.

    • PURPOSE:To position the cargo-carrying platform of a truck in a specified position, by a method wherein, when cargoes are transferred onto the truck, an engaging groove on the truck side is engages with an engaging member on the ground side for locking. CONSTITUTION:When a truck 6 is reversed in the direction of an arrow mark 25, a roller 7, located in a specified position on the ground side, enters the interior of a groove 8 in an auxiliary bamper 9, is guided to a long groove 8C, and displacement of the roller 7 causes a dog 16 to move leftward or rightward through levers 10 and 13 on the ground side against springs 17 and 18. When a rear end surface 9X of the bamper is moved backward until it is forced into a stopper 22, an approach sensor 23 perceives to display positioning of the truck in a specified position, an operator sets brake to fix the truck in a specified position and shift a fluid cylinder 14 to a lock state.
