    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable grooving and end face finishing to be efficiently executed without the necessity to previously cut both ends of wood to be wrought oblique ly as is the case with a climbing beam. SOLUTION: This working machine for a cut end of wood for a joint fitment comprises a wood fixing table for setting and fitting the tip of the wood W at a cutting position, a motor 23 for cutting fabrication with a circular saw 31 which is arranged at a cutting position and fabricates a groove for introducing a joint fitment by cutting at the tip of the wood W, and a servo motor for moving the motor 23 at least in the vertical direction so that the fabrication of the tip of the wood W fixed at the wood fixing table by cutting is executed. In addition, a butt end cutter 32 is mounted on both sides of the circular saw 31 as a cutter and at the same time, the cutter as a whole is structurally wider than the width of the wood W. A fabrication control device controls the motor 23 in such a manner that the motor 23 is obliquely moved relatively with the tip of the wood W fixed to the wood fixing table.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate positioning when precut rafters are attached to a pole plate as the precut rafters are made equal in projected length, even if the pole plate is curved. SOLUTION: A core line 7 connecting plate cares 5 at both ends of a pole plate 1 is marked on the upper surface of the pole plate 1, and a reference line 13 which passes a point A spaced from the end 11 a of a rafter 11 by a distance L1 and which is tilted by a root pitch angle θ to the end relative to a line perpendicular to the upper and lower surfaces 11b, 11c of the rafter 11 is marked on the side face of the rafter 11. Therefore, the work of positioning the rafter 11 relative to the pole plate 1 can be achieved by aligning the extension of the reference line 13 with the core line 7 of the pole plate 1, and accurate positioning can be achieved easily.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of cracks when a cross section is to be worked by a cutter, to speed up a working velocity and to prevent arrangements from becoming troublesome.
      SOLUTION: CAD data for wood working are read in and a wood for which a recessed groove with a slit is to be worked in the cross section is extracted (S10 and S20). A preliminary working site to this wood object to be worked is determined (S30). This determination on the preliminary working site is performed to form a shallow recessed part at a position where there exists a possibility of generating the cracks by using upper and lower cutters 171 and 172 of the top and bottom face working machine 100. When a central position for working is determined, the depth for working is set (S45). When the preliminary working site and the depth of preliminary working are determined, these data are added as the first or the last working information by the cutter 171 (or 172) to the wood W in relation to movement data of the wood during working (S50). Then, following these working data, the preliminary working and the working of the recessed groove with the silt are practiced (S60-S90).
