    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable grooving and end face finishing to be efficiently executed without the necessity to previously cut both ends of wood to be wrought oblique ly as is the case with a climbing beam. SOLUTION: This working machine for a cut end of wood for a joint fitment comprises a wood fixing table for setting and fitting the tip of the wood W at a cutting position, a motor 23 for cutting fabrication with a circular saw 31 which is arranged at a cutting position and fabricates a groove for introducing a joint fitment by cutting at the tip of the wood W, and a servo motor for moving the motor 23 at least in the vertical direction so that the fabrication of the tip of the wood W fixed at the wood fixing table by cutting is executed. In addition, a butt end cutter 32 is mounted on both sides of the circular saw 31 as a cutter and at the same time, the cutter as a whole is structurally wider than the width of the wood W. A fabrication control device controls the motor 23 in such a manner that the motor 23 is obliquely moved relatively with the tip of the wood W fixed to the wood fixing table.

    • PURPOSE: To realize the clear and sure printing of identification information at the position of a tenon by a method wherein the number of turnings of a wood from its standard surface is stored and the information on the arrangement of the wood is printed on the tenon under the condition that the standard surface is directed to the certain fixed direction. CONSTITUTION: In the working treatment of a post material 20, firstly, after a floppy disk, in which data are written, or the like 48 is mounted on a control device 50, the post material is charged into a working machine 60 under the state that the standard surface of the post material faces upwards. Next, the control device 50 judges whether the turning of the post material is necessary or not and, turns the post material with a turning device not shown when the turning is judged to be necessary and the number of the turnings is stored in the storage device 58 of the control device 50. Further, at the working of a tenon, half tenons to the standard surface are formed on the upper and lower ends of the post material 20 on the basis of the data formed at a data forming device. After that, the control device 50 starts printing treatment to the upper tenon or concretely a head 72 is moved to the detected position of the tenon 30 of the post material 20 so as to print the ordering characters on the basis of the data formed by the data forming device 40 in order to end the treatment.
