    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cast product which produces the cast product in which the occurrence of shrinkage cavities, interior shrinkage and cold shut at the inside of the product can be suppressed, and dimensional accuracy and strength are secured.SOLUTION: The method includes a process of feeding molten metal to a casting mold 20 and solidifying the same. The casting mold 20 includes: a product molding part 21; and a runner part 22 of feeding molten metal from the lower side of the product molding part 21. A basin part 23 with a horizontal cross-sectional area larger than the area of the horizontal projection plane of a connecting part 26 with which the product molding part 21 and the runner part 22 come into contact is formed on the runner part 22. The basin part 23 has a volume of 100 to 500% to the volume of the region of the product molding part 21 located directly above the connecting part 26, and further, the cross-sectional area of the horizontal cross-section is 100 to 200% of the area of the horizontal projection plane of the connecting part 26 in a height range more than the minimum height of the product molding part 21 located directly above the connecting part 26 from the upper edge toward the lower part of the basin part 23.
