    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity removal apparatus which is capable of more surely preventing a container from being charged by being irradiated with electron beams.SOLUTION: Removal of electricity is attained efficiently by allowing charges stored in a PET film forming a container 100 to easily flow out by applying an AC voltage with an electrode 13 inserted into the container 100. It is preferable to provide a reflector 80 which reflects electron beams and radiates the electron beams from a port part 100a of the container 100 to the inside in the vicinity of the port part 100a of the container 100. Then, the electrode 13 is effectively provided integrally with the reflector 80. Further, it is effective for the electrode 13 to form a small cross-sectional area part to reduce the cross-sectional area thereof within the range of a neck part 100c from the port part 100a to before a shoulder part 100d where its outer diameter is expanded gradually.

      SOLUTION: This high-frequency power supply structure supplies high-frequency power from the RF cable to the planar electrode, in a plasma generating system which generates plasma, by applying the high-frequency power to the electrode. In the structure, the RF cable is connected to the electrode by positioning the cable on the extended surface of the electrode in the connection provided at the end edge section of the electrode. The RF cable is connected in a plane, which is almost equal to the surface formed by the electrode. Consequently, the applied state of the voltage after the connection becomes symmetrical, with respect to the surface formed by the electrode, and the distribution of electric lines of force becomes symmetrical. In addition, impedance variation and reflection of the high-frequency power in the connection are reduced. Therefore, the supplied quantity of the high-frequency power to the electrode is increased, and the efficiency of film formation and surface treatment is improved.
