    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently decontaminate incineration ash containing radioactive cesium generated in incineration facilities in a short time without increasing the scale of the incineration facilities.SOLUTION: Incineration ash a is put into a magnetic force selecting unit 14 to remove large-sized metals M. Then, a solid solution such as an aluminosilicate compound contained in the incineration ash is sequentially dissolved by diluted sulfuric acid s in a first washing tank 16a and then in a second washing tank 16b to elute radioactive cesium contained in the solid solution into the diluted sulfuric acid s. The diluted sulfuric acid s containing radioactive cesium is separated from heavy metal components in a flocculation/settlement tank 34. The heavy metal component-separated diluted sulfuric acid s is put into a cesium adsorption tower 44 to adsorb radioactive cesium contained in the diluted sulfuric acid s onto an adsorption agent 44a and to remove it from the diluted sulfuric acid s. The radioactive cesium-removed diluted sulfuric acid s is conditioned for its liquid quality containing pH adjustment, and then is returned to the second washing tank 16b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas processing system and an exhaust gas processing method that efficiently collect sulfuric acid mist generated in spray drying.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas processing system includes: a denitrification apparatus 12 which removes nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas 18 from a boiler 11; an air heater 13 which collects heat of the exhaust gas 18 after denitrification; a dust collector 14 which removes ash dust as collected dust ash 16 in the exhaust gas 18 after heat collection; a desulfurizer 15 which removes sulfur oxides contained in the exhaust gas after dust removal, by using lime slurry 20 being an absorbent liquid; a dehydrator 32 which removes calcium sulfate 31 from absorption tower slurry exhausted from the desulfurizer 15; a spray drying apparatus 50 equipped with spraying means for spraying dehydration filtrate 33 from the dehydrator 32 which is to become desulfurization waste water; an exhaust gas introduction line Lwhich introduces branched gas 18a branched from the exhaust gas 18 to the spray drying apparatus 50; an exhaust gas supply line Lwhich returns exhaust gas 18b after drying the dehydration filtrate by the spray drying apparatus, to a main gas flue; and a particulate matter supply apparatus 60 which supplies particulate matter 61 to the exhaust gas introduction line L.
