    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of repair work by restricting the welded area of a nozzle, in a nozzle repairing method and a nuclear reactor vessel.SOLUTION: A nozzle repairing method comprises the steps of: removing a connection part (trepanning processing part) 208 connecting with an in-pile instrumentation cylinder 204 in a groove welding part 206; removing the in-pile instrumentation cylinder 204 from a lower plate (hemispherical part) 66; applying build-up welding to the surface of the groove welding part 206 to form a surface welding build-up part 210; applying groove processing to the surface welding build-up part 210 to form a welded groove part 212; inserting a new in-pile instrumentation cylinder 204A, provided with a slot part 204f along a circumferential direction outside an instrumentation device guiding passage 204d, into a mounting hole 203; and applying groove welding to the welded groove part 212 to fix the new in-pile instrumentation cylinder 204A.
