摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker which can assuredly detect boiling over, and which has less malfunction and high detection accuracy.SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker comprises: a top plate on which a pan is placed: a heating coil provided below the top plate for heating the pan; a drive circuit applying a high frequency current to the heating coil by converting an AC voltage to a high frequency voltage; electrodes provided on a periphery of the heating coil; electrostatic capacitance measuring means for measuring electrostatic capacitance of the electrodes; means for measuring a heating coil current or a drive circuit input current or a heating coil drive voltage; a control circuit controlling the drive circuit to reach a predetermined voltage and determining an occurrence of boiling over on the basis of change in electrostatic capacitance of the electrodes provided on the periphery of the heating coil. The control circuit does not determine that boiling over occurs though the electrostatic capacitance of the electrodes changes to make the drive circuit continue to operate in the case where any of the heating coil current, the drive circuit input current and the heating coil drive voltage changes when driving the heating coil.
