    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker equipped with a preheating function guaranteeing safety, by alleviating an adverse effect of incorrect detection of detected temperature by an infrared sensor.
      SOLUTION: The induction heating cooker is provided with a control means 23 for executing a heating utensil preheating mode having a temperature threshold value as an upper-limit temperature for each of a preheating step, a heat-retaining step, and a cooking step, and for making control of restraining or stopping an induction heating output of coils by shifting to the next step if a temperature of the heating utensil 9 as calculated by a temperature calculating means 20 exceeds a temperature threshold value corresponding to each step in the preheating step and the heat-retaining step. The temperature threshold value of each step is set higher in the order of the preheating step, the heat-retaining step, and the cooking step.
