    • PURPOSE: To prevent the hindrance of the activity of anaerobes and to reduce the size of a titled device, by using the digester gas generated from a digestion tank as a gas for floating in a sludge concentrating device of a sludge digestion device consisting of the sludge concentrating device and the digestion tank.
CONSTITUTION: Raw sludge is introduced by a pump 15a through an introducing pipeline 5 into a floatation tank 17. On the other hand, the pressurized water dissolved under pressure with the digester gas pressurized with a compressor 28 in a pressurization tank 23 is introduced through an introducing pipeline 24 into the tank 17, where the pressure is released therefrom to develop fine foam. The foam sticks on the raw sludge and concentrates and floats the sludge. The floating sludge is put with a skimmer 21 into a storage chamber 20 for concn. sludge, from which the sludge is discharged by a pump 15b into a digestion tank 12. The liquid separated by flotation is discharged through a pipeline 7 and the waste gas is released with a blower 27 from a gas release pipeline 26 connected to a top plate 22.
