A bisector of an apex angle formed by the two plane surfaces is parallel to a rolling direction of the drive wheel. By this configuration, the dust suction port can reach a place which a conventional self-propelled vacuum cleaner could not reach, thereby reducing omissions of cleaning.

By providing the control means for controlling the dust suction port angle change means so as to optimize the angle in the longitudinal direction of the dust suction port with respect to the rolling direction of the drive wheel, the dust suction port is allowed to reach a narrow space such as the corner part of the floor surface, and cleaning failures is reduced. Further, the need of repeatedly changing the moving direction of the body and moving forward and backward is eliminated, and cleaning efficiency can be improved.

Also, a face opposite to the lower housing 10, of the water tank 20 is formed in a recessed shape along the projected opposing face of the lower housing 10. The projected and recessed shape of opposing faces are each formed with a plurality of faces.
