The control means 8 includes as a process of the rice cooking control, a dry-up process to maintain at least one temperature of the pot 5 and the cooked rice at the constant temperature not to scorch the cooked rice. The dry-up process is executed after the boil in the pot 5 is detected, and the control means 8 controls the feeding of the power to the heating coil 3 in the dry-up process based on the temperature information from the temperature detection means.
