    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an operation mechanism of a switch enabling downsizing through restraint of protrusion of a pair of operating plates toward the outside.
      SOLUTION: The operation mechanism is provided with a pair of operating plates 31 supported by a support shaft 32 and arranged in parallel, a pin 33 set in penetration into each through-hole fitted at each of the pair of operating plates 31, and a pair of inner contact parts in contact with an inner face of each of the pair of operating plates 31 so that an interval between the parallel arranged pair of operating plates 31 is constant, and a retaining tool 34 in contact with an outer face each of the pair of operating plates 31 so as the interval between the pair of operating plates 31 is not widened and equipped with a pair of outside contact pieces 34d for blocking the through-holes 31b of the pair of operating plates 31 penetrated by the pin. An interval between the pair of operating parts 31 penetrated by the pin is kept constant, so that the pin 33 is prevented from falling off from the pair of operating plates 31.

The operation mechanism part is constituted by a plurality of operation mechanism parts, and the main spindle is rotated via the drive lever by the operation mechanism part selected by a switching action.
