    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problems that, because a surge absorption element is conventionally connected to a coil terminal by an electric wire or the like in a high-speed differential interface communication circuit, a floating capacitance is added between differential lines of the communication circuit, which causes impossibility of high-speed signaling, and that common mode noise is propagated to the lines by deterioration in a degree of balancing of the differential lines, which causes increase in radiation noise from the differential lines.SOLUTION: A connector for a communication wire comprises: a plurality of signal pins for signal transmission and reception that are respectively and integrally formed with a plurality of insertion holes into which signal pins of the other communication line connector provided on a housing are inserted, and that are formed so as to be protruded from the housing at an opposite side of the insertion holes; a terminal connected to a metal shell provided on an outer wall of the housing, and connected with surge path wiring formed to a dielectric substrate when mounted on the dielectric substrate; and a plurality of surge absorption elements provided on the housing, connected with the metal shell at one end and connected with the signal pins at the other end, and arranged so that distances from the signal pins to the surge absorption elements are at a regular interval.
