    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker detecting infrared rays irradiated from a cooking container by an infrared sensor and calculating a temperature of the cooking container on the basis of an infrared volume to perform temperature control, which correctly measures a temperature by eliminating the influence from an adjacent heating coil and external light.SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker comprises: a top plate on which a cooking container heating a cooking object is placed; a plurality of heating coils provided on a front right side and a front left side of the top plate, and on the backside center of the top plate, each of which generates an induction field for heating the cooking container; and an infrared sensor provided for each of the heating coils for detecting infrared rays irradiated from the cooking container heated by the heating coil. The infrared sensor provided for the heating coil on the backside center of the top plate is provided in an arrangement region of the heating coil only in an infrared sensor mounting area on an edge side of the top plate beyond the center of the heating coil.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker which can reliably detect boiling-over, develops less malfunction, and has high detection accuracy.SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker comprises: a top plate 8 on which a pan is placed; heating coils 2 disposed under the top plate 8 for heating the pan; a driving circuit 5 which converts AC voltage into high-frequency voltage and supplies high-frequency current to the heating coils 2; a plurality of electrodes 3a and 3b provided around the heating coils 2; electrostatic capacity measurement means 7 for measuring an electrostatic capacity between the electrodes; means for measuring a heating coil current, a driving circuit input current, or a heating coil driving voltage; and a control circuit 6 which controls the driving circuit 5 so that electric power becomes a prescribed value, and determines occurrence of boiling-over on the basis of a change in the electrostatic capacity between the electrodes. When one of the heating coil current, the driving circuit input current, and the heating coil driving voltage changes while the heating coils 2 are being driven, the control circuit 6 does not determine occurrence of boiling-over even if the electrostatic capacity between the electrodes changes.
