摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical linear motor that is inexpensive, small, and highly accurate while having a long stroke.SOLUTION: A cylindrical linear motor includes: a stator 2; and a mover 3 that is provided on a central axis of the stator 2 so as to be reciprocable relative to the stator 2 by interaction with the stator 2. The stator 2 has: a plurality of ring-shaped phase coils 4 that are arranged at intervals along the axis; and permanent magnet sections 6 that are made up of ring-shaped permanent magnets provided between the phase coils 4. The mover 3 has: a shaft 9; and a plurality of ring-shaped salient poles 10 that are made up of a magnetic material and are arranged at intervals along an axis of the shaft 9.
