The cooling fan 7 is pressed by a pressurizing rod to the end surface of a pole core 15 at the inner position in the radial direction of one claw-like magnetic pole part of the second claw-like magnetic pole parts 24, which sandwich the magnet member 39 in the circumferential direction. Then, first and second electrode rods 43, 44 are made to contact the outside circumferential part of the other claw-like magnetic pole part of the second claw-like magnetic pole parts 24, which sandwich the magnet member 39 in the circumferential direction and the outside circumferential part of the cooling fan outside the radial direction of the pressurizing part of the cooling fan 7 to the end surface of the pole core 15. Also, a rotary electric machine can be provided with a small coil end, a high volume productivity, a high space factor and a good productivity by adopting a stator of a concentrated winding approach.
