SOLUTION: The compressor has lead out lines 5a, 5b and 5c of respective phases for connecting an electric motor winding 3 in an outer frame 1 and a lead-out line terminal 2a of an electric motor terminal 2 attached to the outer frame 1. All or part of lengths of the lead out lines 5a, 5b and 5c are covered with respective insulators 23a, 23b and 23c each having heat resistance exceeding those of the lead-out lines and insulation performance enough to prevent the short circuit between the lead-out lines.

Magnetic buoyancy is exerted on the permanent magnet 1 which, as the result, is suspended with stability in the magnetic fluid 3. Accordingly, the permanent magnet 1 is fixed without direct contact to the casing 2 with a thin film of the magnetic fluid 3 sandwiched between the two. The permanent magnet 1 is fully lubricated with the liquid film of the magnetic fluid 3 and therefore is enabled to slide smoothly shaftwise.
