    • PURPOSE:To permit a molding device to be set to a mold simply by a method wherein a sliding cylinder for the molding device for a multi-split mold is attached to a moving base while the sliding cylinder is connected to a cylinder mounting plate for a top force. CONSTITUTION:In order to lift up a carried mold 8, a cylinder mounting plate 3 for a top force is advanced by a sliding cylinder 11 to stop it at a predetermined position. Subsequently, a cylinder 5 for the top force is descended to a position whereat a flat plate 10 can be inserted into an angle 9. Then, the cylinder mounting pate 3 for the top force is moved by the sliding cylinder 11 again to insert the flat plate 10 into the angle 9, thereafter, the cylinder 5 for the top force is elevated, the mold 8 is lifted up to a position whereat the mold 8 is set to a molding device and the sliding cylinder moves the cylinder mounting plate 3 for the top force to carry it into the molding device. Subsequently, a mold clamping cylinder 4 advances a movable platen 2 to attach a fixed side mold 8a to a fixed platen 1 and a movable side mold 8b to the movable platen 2 under a condition that the mold 8 is being clamped whereby the setting of the mold 8 to the molding device may be finished.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the casting device suitable for producing insulators at high efficiency by a method in which molding raw material is poured into a molding part through feeding spaces, and after the pouring has been finished, a pouring port is closed by a pressurizing nozzle equipped separately, whereby the pouring nozzle is enabled to be removed from a mold. CONSTITUTION:The specified amount of raw material is poured into a molding part 2 through the flow path composed of a material feeding hose 6, a pouring nozzle 5, a pouring port 4 and a connecting port 3, pressurizing a raw material tank 8. After this pouring has been finished, a pressurizing nozzle 11 in pressurized state is pushed and moved in right direction in the figure by a cylinder 12, and closes the pouring port 4, cooperating with the pouring nozzle 5. Said nozzle 11 is simultaneously connected to the pouring port 4, whereby high pressure is applied into the molding part 2 by the pressure from the pressurizing nozzle 11. On one hand, at the pouring nozzle side, a valve 9 is closed. The pouring nozzle 5 is lowered by a cylinder 7 and is removed from the mold 1 and then is used for pouring into other mold.

    • PURPOSE:To maintain airtightness of sealing by removing a part of the outermost layer of an optical fiber, disclosing the intermediate layer of a material of knitted fiber structure, impregnating this part with an epoxy resin adhesive, hardening it, inserting it into the mold of a terminal plate, and casting the epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION:A part of the outermost layer 3 of a single type optical fiber 2 is removed, an intermediate layer 4B of a knitted material or cloth structure covering a core fiber 21, a clad 22, and an inner coating layer 5 is impregnated with an epoxy resin adhesive, and hardened. Such an optical fiber or plural ones are inserted into the mold 1 of the terminal plate, and the epoxy resin is cast. Since the layer 4B is made of a knitted or woven material, slipping of fibers or uneven coating of the adhesive is prevented, and the airtightness of sealing is maintained.
