    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synthesizing an FePd/Fe nanocomposite magnet having an FePd phase as a core and an Fe phase as a shell by which the regularity of the FePd phase as a core is improved and the coarsening of the Fe phase as a shell is prevented. SOLUTION: A method for producing an FePd/Fe nanocomposite magnet having an FePd phase as a core and an Fe phase as a shell includes the steps of: a process 1 for synthesizing Pd nanoparticles by dissolving a salt of Pd in a solvent containing a detergent and adding a reducing agent to the solvent and heating it; a process 2 for synthesizing Pd/FeOx nanocomposite particles (x=0-1.5), which is done by dissolving a salt of Fe in a solvent containing a detergent and adding the Pd nanoparticles and a detergent to the solvent and heating it and then precipitating an Fe or an Fe oxide on each surface of the Pd nanoparticles; and a process 3 for synthesizing the FePd/Fe nanocomposite particles by carrying out heat treatment of the Pd/FeOx nanocomposite particles in a hydrogen atmosphere at heat treatment temperature of 450-550°C for 3 hours or more of heat treatment time.
