The elastic deformation rate in the surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor is not less than 44.0%; the toner shows D50v of 3.5 to 8.0 μm; and in the volume particle size distribution of the toner, the standard deviation is not more than 1/4 of the D50v; the content rate of particles having a size of not less than (1.4×D50v) μm is not more than 5 vol%; and the content rate of particles having a size of not more than (0.6×D50p) μm is not more than 5 number%.
