    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic opening/closing device for a vehicle, which can open/close an opening/closing member thereof as appropriate irrespective of presence/absence of wind. SOLUTION: The vehicle has an electric motor arranged in a door thereof, for driving the door to be opened/closed, and the door is automatically opened/closed at a predetermined desired speed by constant-speed-controlling the electric motor by a control device. The door has a wind sensor arranged therein, and the control device can detect wind power applied to the door. Thus when external force of a predetermined value or more is applied to the door and at the same time wind power applied to the door assumes a predetermined value or less, it is determined that the external force acting on the door is the same as the manual operating force, and therefore the door is accelerated in the same direction as the direction of the external force by acceleration control. On the other hand if external force of the predetermined value or more is applied to the door and at the same time wind power applied to the door assumes the predetermined value or more, the external force acting on the door is the same as the wind power, and therefore the door is maintained to move at the predetermined desired speed based on speed maintaining control. When an operation instruction signal for automatically opening and closing the door is inputted into the electric motor, the energization of the electric motor is started, and the electric motor starts to operate. On the other hand, when the door during opening and closing operations is stopped, the supply of a current to the electric motor is temporarily stopped for a specified time t1, and then the current in the same direction is supplied to the electric motor for a specified time t2.
