SOLUTION: Inspecting wiring 8a for wiring a scanning signal formed in the outside of a liquid crystal screen area and scanning signal wirings are connected through line patterns 9a, and similarly, inspecting wirings 8b for wiring a video signal and video signal wirings are connected through line patterns 9b and after the inspection of a liquid crystal display device is performed by utilizing inspecting electrode terminals, the line patterns 9a, 9b are cut by being irradiated with a laser beam, however, this device is constituted so that narrow width parts 9a1 , 9b1 are formed beforehand at the line patterns 9a, 9b and the cuttings are performed at these narrow width parts 9a1 , 9b1 .

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent curving of an electrode plate and generation of an edge, and obtain a lead-acid battery with less internal short circuiting with high mass productivity by punching the continuum of the electrode plate in an electrode plate unit by using two die cylinders. SOLUTION: A plurality of collector lug parts and grids are continuously and integrally formed, active material paste is coated on these grid parts, the continua of the electrode plates are formed. Subsequently, these continua are punched in an electrode plate unit. In the electrode plates to be punched, the grid parts of the electrode plates are punched by engaging both of edges 3, 4 by using two die cylinders 1 and 2, and stress from only one direction is not prevented from applying to a cutting part. The electrode plates punched are extremely smooth because stress is applied to the cutting part from both of the directions. The cross section becomes a round shape without an edge standing on one side. In the edge width dimensions of edges 3, 4 of the two die cylinders 1, 2, it is preferable that one is 1 to 100μm and the other is made 2 to 10 times as long as the former.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a plate group to be effectively formed, by synchronizing the vertical movement of a lift base with the horizontal movement of the claw parts of a supporting part from the side board of a guide frame, and heaping the plates in sequence on the claw parts from upward to downward. CONSTITUTION:At the time when conveyance by means of a conveyor 1 is stopped by the rear board 7a of a guide frame, a plate stack body 2 is lifted up to the predetermined height by a lift base 8. When the lift base 8 is lowered, the claw parts 14a, 14b of a supporting board enter the guide frame, support a descending plate from below, and go away out of the guide frame just before the plate stack body 2 which is secondly brought lifts and hits against the under side of the claw parts. The first plate gets on the second plate stack body on the lift base 8 and lifts up to the predetermined position. When the first plate comes down, the claw parts of the supporting board support two pairs of plate stack bodies from below. When the predetermined number of sheets are heaped, the lift base 8 lifts up to the top of the guide frame, the plate stack body 2 is transferred on an intermittent belt 18 by means of a rake-type scraper 17.
