    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical input operation device with high reliability capable of performing a sure input operation by increasing an amount of light received by guiding the light reflected by a reflecting substance like a finger top to a light receiving element.
      SOLUTION: The optical input operation device comprises a first translucent light guide 26 arranged between light-emitting diodes 24a to 24f and a plate 20, a second light guide body 28 guiding the light reflected by the reflecting substance 22 like a finger touching a key switch operation face 20 of the plate 20, and an input means 30 discriminating the key switch operation depending on outputs of the light receiving element 25. A refractive index of the first light guide 26 at the side contacting the plate 20 is adjusted to become small, so as not to generate reflection light from an underside of the plate 20. By the above, the majority of the light reflected by the reflecting substance 22 is guided to the light receiving element 25 by the second light guide body 28, the amount of the light received is increased, a sure input operation is made possible, and a high reliability is obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker in which slight temperature changes can be detected without overlooking and a good precision cooking can be carried out.
      SOLUTION: This is so constituted that output of a temperature detecting means 9 to detect the bottom face temperature of a heated substance 1 by the output of an infrared detecting means 6 is corrected by that of a light receiving means 11 to detect the infrared amount from the disturbing light. Since effect of the disturbing light can be eliminated by this correction, the slight temperature changes can be detected so that the good precision cooking can be carried out.

Accordingly, the weight detecting device 17 is correctly positioned by the boss 16 of the protection frame 14, so as to measure the rice quantity by the weight detecting device 17 and to optimally hold the distance between the pot 12 and the electromagnetic coil 15.
