    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor which has superior characteristics such as suppression of variation and deterioration due to environment such as high humidity and high temperature and whose productivity can be improved, and its manufacturing method.
      SOLUTION: The capacitor is equipped with a dielectric film (13), and a couple of electrodes (lower electrode film (12) and upper electrode film (14)) arranged opposite to each other across at least a portion of the dielectric film (13). The capacitor is formed by forming a thin film containing a resin monomer, and then subjecting the resin monomer in the thin film to polymerization reaction. The resin monomer contains an organic compound represented by a general formula (1), (2), or (3).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component having superior properties, even at high humidity or at high temperatures.
      SOLUTION: By using a resin monomer containing at least one kind of isomer of thioether derivative expressed by a following chemical formula (1), it is possible to provide the electronic component having proper properties, even at high humidity or at high temperatures. This electronic component, for example as shown in Fig. 1 (a) or (b), comprises a support body 11, a lower electrode film 12 formed on the body 11, a dielectric film 13 arranged on the lower electrode film 12, and an upper electrode film 14 arranged on the dielectric film 13. The dielectric film 13 is a resin film formed after obtaining a thin film containing the resin monomer, by causing a polymerization reaction of the monomer in the thin film.
