    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which efficiently removes dust stuck and deposited inside a dust collecting bag, reduces the decline of suction air, improves a dust collecting performance and is made compact and light in weight.
      SOLUTION: A dust removing means for removing the dust stuck to the dust collecting bag for catching the dust comprises a turning lever 35 to be turned linked with the rotation of a cord reel 29 when pulling out a power cord 28, a slide lever 37 to be slid in linkage when it is turned, and a vibration plate 26 to be cyclically operated linked with the slide lever 37 for applying vibrations to the dust collecting bag. The cord reel 29 is provided with a projection rib, an abutting part 36 to be abutted on the projection rib and an abutment release part 39 for releasing abutment on the projection rib are formed on the turning lever 35, and the abutment release part 39 is operated when winding the power cord 28. The dust stuck and deposited to the dust collecting bag can be efficiently removed, and when winding the power cord 28, excess load and noise for winding are not caused and it is smoothly wound.
