    • PURPOSE:To improve the utilizing efficiency of heat accumulating agent and permit efficient heat accumulation by midnight electric power or the like by a method wherein the temperature distribution of the heat accumulating device is uniformed by the convection of evaporative heat medium even in case the heat exchanging areas of the cooler and the heater of the heat accumulating device are not large enough. CONSTITUTION:Enclosed air-tightly in a heat accumulating device is a plurality of vessels 13, arranged in a heat accomulating tank 11 and filled with latent heat accumulating agent 12, the heat accumulating tank 11, accommodating the evaporative heat medium which boils at the temperature and pressure being used by the tank 11 so as to contact with a vessel filled with the latent heat accumulating agent 12 and remain a gas phase space at the upper part thereof, and the radiator 15 equipped in the gas phase space as well as the heater 14 arranged in the liquid phase space. The characteristics of this heat accumulating device are that the heat is transferred from the heater 14 to the heat medium in a liquid phase condition and the heat is transferred from the heat medium to the latent heat accumulating agent in the vessel 13. According to this method, the temperature distribution of the device is uniformed by the convection of the heat medium and, therefore, efficient heat accumulation may be effected.

    • PURPOSE:To permit efficient heat accumulation effected by solar heat or midnight electric power by a method wherein heat is transferred from a heater to liquid heat medium and the temperature distribution of the heat medium is uniformed by the convection of the heat medium even in case the heat exchanging areas of a cooler and the heater of the heat accumulating device are not so large. CONSTITUTION:In a heat accumulating device, a multitude of vessels 13, into which latent heat accumulating agent 12 is sealed, is accommodated in a heat accumulating tank 11 while first medium of water, which keeps liquid phase under the range of temperature and pressure which are used in the heat accumulating tank 11, and second medium of trifluorotrichloroethane which is used for the purpose of heat exchange upon heat dissipation (cooling), hard to dissolve into the first heat medium, having larger specific gravity than the first heat medium under liquid phase and boiled under the range of temperature and pressure employed in the heat accumulating tank 11, are sealed so as to be contacted with the vessel 13 directly. The vessels 13 are accommodated in the heat accumulating tank 11 so as to remain a gas phase space in the upper part of the tank and the heat dissipating heat exchanger 15 is arranged in the gas phase space of the heat accumulating tank 11 while the heat accumulating heat exchanger 14 is arranged in a liquid phase space. This heat accumulating device permits efficient heat accumulation by the convection of the first heat medium.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a heat accumulator which can accumulate the heat ranging from a relatively low temperature to a relatively high temperature by employing multiple number of latent heat accumulating materials having different melting points. CONSTITUTION:Heat insulating containers 1, 2 and 3 are provided with heat exchangers 11, 12 and 13 which are conduit for a thermal medium to flow in and out to input and output the thermal energy as well as to exchange the heat. The delivery port for the thermal medium of said heat exchanger 11 is connected to the feed port of the thermal medium of the heat exchanger 12 through a three way valve 21, while the delivery port for the thermal medium of the heat exchanger 12 is connected to the feed port for the thermal medium of the following exchanger 13 likewise through a three way valve 22. The heat insulating container 1 is filled with a heat accumulating material 31 having the lowest melting point and the heat insulating container 3 with a heat accumulating material 33 having the highest melting point while the heat insulating container 2 is filled with a heat accumulating material 32 having the melting point inbetween. When a heat output is desired for domestic heating etc. from the afore-described heat accumulator, a heat output at a suitable temperature is obtained by controlling the three-way valves connecting respective heat exchangers.
