    • PURPOSE: A heat-storing material that is obtained by adding polyvinyl alcohol, formaldehyde, paraffin, as thickeners, to a system consisting of a specific amount of sodium acetate and water, thus showing stabilized heat dissipation properties, because it is free from phase separation, even when melting and freezing are repeated.
      CONSTITUTION: The objective heat-storing material is obtained by mixing 100pts.wt. of a sodium acetate-water system containing 53W69wt% of sodium acetate with thickeners, preferably consisting of 0.5W20pts.wt. of PVA, 0.1W 5pts.wt. of formaldehyde and 0.1W5pts.wt. of paraffin.
      USE: Heat-storing units for air-conditioning.

    • PURPOSE:To take out the solidifying heat of a heat accumulating material effectively, in the latent heat accumulator of a solar water heater and the like, by mixing fine solid material comprising thin metal wire, metal powder, and the like in the heat storing material as a heat conduction aiding body. CONSTITUTION:High temperature water of about 58 deg.C or more from a solar heat collector and the like enters a water inlet port 5 and makes the heat storing material 8 in the accumulator 1 as liquid phase. The heat is stored as the latent heat. Then the hot water is supplied from a hot water outlet 6. When low temperature water is supplied to the water inlet port 5, the latent heat is taken out of the heat storing material 8 and the hot water is obtained. The hot water is taken out of the hot water outlet port 6. At this time, the solid layer of the solidified heat storing material grows from the surface of a heat exchanger 4, and the thermal conductivity is degraded. However, the solidifying heat is transferred to the heat exchanger 4 through the thin wire pieces 9 mixed in the heat storing material 8. By said aiding of the heat conduction, the temperature of the outputting hot water is not decreased rapidly during the time heat is outputted. Therefore the overall heat conduction becomes excellent and the heat exchanger can be made compact.

    • PURPOSE: A stable regenerating material having a high regeneration density, capable of using latent heat of both an inorganic hydrate and a paraffin type compound, comprising the inorganic hydrate sealed in capsules and the paraffin type compound to be filled in the space between the capsules.
      CONSTITUTION: A regenerating material comprising an inorganic hydrate (e.g., sodium sulfate.10 hydrate, etc.) sealed in capsules and a paraffin type compound (e.g., paraffin wax 120) to be filled in the space between the capsules. The melting point of the paraffin type compound is preferably lower than that of the inorganic hydrate, the paraffin type compound is liquid when the inorganic hydrate is melted or solidified, it functions as a heating medium using its high heat conductivity, and, when this compound is not required, it itself is melted and solidified to lose functions as a regenerating material.
      USE: Useful for air conditioning.
