    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with expansion or contraction caused by a temperature change, and to protect the resolver rotor side and the outer circumferential end of a coil substrate without increasing the number of components.
      SOLUTION: This resolver 1 has a rotor plate 41 fitted into a key groove of a rotating shaft 42 and connected to the rotating shaft 42, and a resolver stator 2 for detecting a rotation position of the rotor plate 41. The resolver stator 2 includes a resolver cover 30 for protecting the coil substrate 20 of a stator core 11 and fixing it to the stator core 11. The coil substrate 20 includes a hole to be fitted with a stator pin 12 which is a projection of the stator core 11, a coil pattern 21 formed around the hole, and a lead wire 27 connected to the coil pattern formed on the coil substrate 20. A peripheral part of the stator core 11 includes a mounting hole having a long hole shape to be fixed to a casing of rotating machine such as a motor or a generator, and an engaging hole to be engaged with a pawl of the resolver cover 30.
