    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a completely-passive solar heat-utilizing lumber-drying device for passively introducing solar heat into a greenhouse formed by improving an agricultural plastic greenhouse to dry piled lumber in a room, and for passively exhausting generated wet air by using a heat-insulated cylindrical draft. SOLUTION: This completely-passive solar heat-utilizing lumber-drying device is classified into an east-west type and a south-north type from structure and an installation direction. The drying device (house) has a greenhouse structure having a half-hog-backed shape and composed by covering a roof surface 1, a south surface 2, an east surface (back surface side), and a west surface (front surface side) with a triple transparent film 5 comprising a double transparent film 3 having a thin air layer therebetween, and a thicker single transparent film 4 by interposing an air layer, and covering a north surface 6 with an opaque heat insulation wall. In the room, a carbon fiber sheet (CF sheet) 7 or a black sheet similar to it is suspended from a ceiling with a space to cover the piled lumber, and it plays a role for absorbing insolation to collect heat, and blocking direct insolation to the piled lumber at the same time. In a cloudy day and night, the slide-type ceiling radiation panel 14 on the going conveyor 11 is slid to a south side, high-temperature steam by combustion heat is supplied to both of the slide-type ceiling radiation panel and the fixed ceiling radiation panel 13 on the returning conveyor 12, and the sawdust moving on both belt conveyors 11, 12 is dried by radiation.
