    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an all-weather passive solar energy utilization sawdust drying device for both of day and night, to dry sawdust on belt conveyors moving in a room at a very low speed by passively introducing solar energy in daytime of a clear-sky day and applying radiation from a ceiling radiation panel by combustion heat in a cloudy day and night in a greenhouse obtained by improving an agricultural vinyl house.
      SOLUTION: In this sawdust drying device, a belt conveyor (going) 11 and a belt conveyor (returning) 12 are disposed inside of the house, and a fixed ceiling radiation panel 13 and a slide-type ceiling radiation panel 14 heated by high-temperature steam are disposed at upper parts of the going conveyor 11 and the returning conveyor 12. In a cloudy day and night, the slide-type ceiling radiation panel 14 on the going conveyor 11 is slid to a south side, high-temperature steam by combustion heat is supplied to both of the slide-type ceiling radiation panel and the fixed ceiling radiation panel 13 on the returning conveyor 12, and the sawdust moving on both belt conveyors 11, 12 is dried by radiation.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous solar heat scob powder drying device for continuously drying scob powder carried on a belt conveyor in a greenhouse formed by improving an agricultural vinyl house by using solar heat mainly in the daytime and the combustion heat of woody fuel in the nighttime.
      SOLUTION: A floor heating panel FH is placed on a concrete earth floor 3 with its east and west sides in the longitudinal direction and its south and north sides in the cross direction. A transparent vinyl house 2 covered with double transparent films 1 is constructed thereon. Two-line belt conveyors consisting of a belt conveyor 4 and a belt conveyor 5 travel in a room. Scob powder is supplied thereonto from a charging hopper S into the state of a uniform thickness and slowly carried. At this time, the scob powder is irradiated directly with solar radiation from the upper side of the double transparent films 1 and steam heat radiation from a ceiling radiation panel 6. On the other hand, convection is given to warmed room air with a room fan F2 to form hot air which indirectly dries the scob powder to be collected from the belt conveyor 4 by a receiving hopper R.
