    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve agitation efficiency in shield excavation.SOLUTION: There is provided a shield machine 1 which takes excavation earth in a chamber 13 provided on a back side of a cutter spork 12 including a cutter 11 for excavating the ground in the front of a main body 10, and agitates the excavation earth with agitation blades 16, 17 provided in the chamber 13. An intermediate support member 15 provided extending between the cutter spork 12 and a partition wall 14 positioned on a back side of the chamber 13 in the main body 10 is provided with injection holes 22 for injecting additives into the excavation ground in the chamber 13. Then the additives are injected into the excavation earth in the chamber 13 from the respective injection holes 22 provided in the intermediate support member 15.

Further, the fixed agitation blade 17 is sectioned in a triangular shape, and the fixed agitation blade 17 sectioned in the triangular shape is rotated to an angular position where agitation efficiency is superior while pushed out. Furthermore, for excavation in soil where improvement in agitation efficiency is unnecessary, the fixed agitation blade 17 is drawn back into the partition wall 14 from in the chamber 13.
