CONSTITUTION:An amphoteric surfactant comprising an adduct of 1 mol of a polyethyleneimine of an average molecular weight of 200 to 100,000 with an 8-22C fatty acid in an amount of 1 to (the degree of polymerization of polyethyleneimine X1) mol and sodium monochloroacetate in an amount of 1 to (the degree of polymerization of polyethyleneimine X2) mol.
