    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a warping of a burned member and to get a flat burned member having a high degree of flatness by a method wherein a bogie within a tunnel furnace is moved to perform a burning operation and the burned member is held between a table and a loading weight plate near a burning region by lifting up the table. CONSTITUTION:A tunnel-like furnace 14 is mounted on a floor 1 through a furnace supporting frame 12. A bogie passed through a preheating zone approaches a burning zone, where a caster 30 is rotated along an ascending slope 36 to cause a stem 24 to be pushed up and a table 28 is also gradually pushed up. As the caster 30 approaches a raised portion 40, a burned member is pushed against a lower surface of a loading weight plate 34. Then, under a condition in which the table 28 is lifted up to its upper lifting limit position, the loading weight plate 34 is floated up from a weighting plate mounting table 32, resulting in that a weight of the loading weight plate 34 is fully applied to a flat plate-like burned member on the table 28. Due to this fact, the burned member is burned while being press held between the loading weight plate 34 and the table 28.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the number of unit cell laminates per unit volume and to improve the volume output density by laminating numerous plate-form unit cells through porous bodies for gas passage, making the opposite surfaces of neighboring unit cells in the same sort of electrode membranes, and using the porous bodies for gas passage for fuel flow passages and air flow passages alternatively. CONSTITUTION:A unit cell 1 consists of a plate-form solid electrolyte 3, and an oxygen electrode membrane 2 and a fuel electrode membrane 4 laminated on both sides of the solid electrolyte 3 respectively, And numerous unit cells 1 are laminated through porous bodies 7a and 7b for gas passages, and porous plates 5 for connector are provided to the electrode surfaces 2 and 4 of each unit cell 1. And the opposite surfaces of neighboring two cells, the upper side of the uppermost unit cell 1, and the lower side of the lowermost cell 1, are made in the same sort of electrode. Furthermore, the porous bodies for gas passage 7a and 7b are used for fuel flow passage and air flow passage alternatively. As a result, gas separators are not necessary to prepare, and thereby the number of laminate members is reduced, and the laminate members can be made thinner. Consequently, the laminating number of unit cells per unit volume can be increased, and the volume output density can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a jointed body of high strength and high function having notably high joining strength and excellent in sealing property, etc., by easily and firmly joining the surfaces to be jointed even when they are the non-smooth ones of members to be jointed without doing machining before joining, etc., in joining ceramics members with each other or a ceramics member and a metal member. CONSTITUTION:A ceramics member 1 and a metal member or ceramics member 2 are abutted on each other through an intermediate material 3 and heated. As the intermediate material 3 is used a material which has easier deforming property than the members to be jointed 1, 2 at joining temp. and is deformed following the shape of the members to be jointed 1, 2 at the joining temp. This causes the smoothing treatment of the jointed surface before joining to be unnecessary. Since the jointed surface is a non-smooth one, effective jointed area is increased. Anchoring effect of the intermediate member 3 and the members to be jointed 1, 2 enables a firm jointed body. Thus a jointed body excellent in high temp. strength and sealing property is obtained.
