    • PURPOSE:To reduce the driving power of fluid by composing an approximately circular heat accumulator of the medium made of compound having a melting point of predetermined temperature range to be filled in a sheath and of the sheath having a softenining point of higher than 90 deg.C, thereby simplifying the facility structure. CONSTITUTION:A sheath 1 made of material having a softening point of higher than 90 deg.C is formed in spherical shape, a compound having a melting point in the temperature range of -20-90 deg.C such as, for example, calcium chloride or the like is filled as a medium 2 in the sheath 1, and a plug 3 is sealed in an inlet port, thereby obtaining a heat accumulating unit (a). A heat accumulator A is composed of many heat accumulating units (a) and has an inlet port 4 and an outlet port 5 for passing the fluid such as water. Since the shape of the unit (a) is formed in spherical shape or similar shape in this matter, the accumulator A has high strength and does not need partition plates or a trestle, thereby reducing the pressure loss of the fluid. Further, the driving force of the fluid is reduced to simplify the overall facility structure.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the projection screen which is wide in a light diffusion range in both horizontal and vertical directions and is bright by forming minute and dense undulation patterns with crossing in the horizontal and vertical directions on the surface of the metal aluminum layer provided on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A metal aluminum layer is provided on a substrate surface. The undulation patterns of about 0.2S-25S in surface roughness (JIS B0601) having directivity in the horizontal direction and the undulation patterns of about 0.01S- 10S in surface roughness having directivity in the vertical direction are formed on the aluminum layer to provide the projection screen. It is desirable that the abovementioned horizontal undulation patterns be formed by rolling and the vertical undulation patterns be formed by mechanical surface treatment (polishing, brushing, etc.). The effect will be higher if many more crater-form patterns are given by etching or the like in addition to the abovementioned undulation patterns.

    • PURPOSE:To make adequate the vertical directivity characteristics of a projection screen and increase the reflection efficiency and effective luminance ratio, by providing grooves in the aluminum surface forming a projection screen at fine and dense intervals, forming grooves in specified shape, and setting the number of grooves within 10 -10 per 1cm . CONSTITUTION:An aluminum substrate forming a projection screen is made of a single aluminum plate or aluminum foil which is adhered to one side or both sides of a plastic plate such as polyethylene. To form grooves in the aluminum surface, for example, the aluminum surface may be brushed with a brush wheel having steel wires or brass wires measuring 0.1-0.3mm in diameter and 10-100mm in length planted on a rotary disc. By setting the average length L of these grooves to 1- 100mu, the ratio of L to width to 3-10, the depth of grooves to 0.2-25s, and the quantity of grooves per 1cm to 10 -109, the vertical directivity characteristics may be made adequate, and the reflection efficiency and effective luminance ratio may be increased.
