    • PURPOSE:To obtain an air-conditioning device providing a comfortable living space by a method wherein the air-conditioning device is constituted of a humidifying unit, a perfume generating unit, a gas supplying unit, a filter unit and a deodorizing unit. CONSTITUTION:The humidifying unit A of an air-conditioning device is constituted of a hydrophobia fine porous hollow system 1 consisting of polyethylene or the like and fixed by bundling it with a fixing member 4 in a water reserving tank 2 while a gas passage is formed by a part in the fine porous hollow system 1, which is partitioned by a diaphragm wall. A perfume diffusing unit B is formed by bundling and fixing a multi-layer composite hollow diaphragm 6 with another fixing member 9 in a perfume agent receiving tank 7. The multi-layer composite hollow diaphragm 6 is formed through a sandwich structure, in which a homogeneous diaphragm (A) consisting of silicon rubber series polymer or the like is pinched between porous diaphragms (B) consisting of polyethylene or the like. Gas is supplied from a gas supplying unit E to the deodorizing agent 3.4 of a deodorizing unit D. The gas, passed through the deodorizing agent, enters a gas passage in a hollow system 11 from a filter unit C and flows through the perfume generating unit B and the humidifying unit A, then, is discharged as humidified gas with perfume.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a membrane having a good fractionating characteristic and excellent permeability by providing straight porous having a specific mean pore size to the surface of a porous membrane and setting the mean pore size and pressure loss at the time of the transmission of air so as to satisfy a specific formula. CONSTITUTION:At first, a composition containing a (meth)acrylic ester polymer and/or other component is dissolved in its good solvent to prepare a polymer solution which is, in turn, formed into membrane-like matter. Steam with absolute humidity of 1.0X10 -1.0X10 g/cm is brought into contact with the surface of this membrane like matter under such a condition that steam liner velocity is 12-50m/sec and a contact time of 0.1-10sec. Next, steam with absolute humidity of 1.0X10 -1.0-10 g/cm is brought into contact with the surface of the membrane like matter under such a condition that steam linear velocity is 0.1-9.0m/sec and a contact time is 10-600sec to perform two-stage steam contact treatment to obtain a membrane. This membrane has a mean fore size (d) of 1mum or less and the mean pore size (d) and pressure loss P generated when air is transmitted at linear velocity of 5.3cm/sec satisfy d X P

    • PURPOSE:To form a filter medium for air filter having excellent mechanical strength by superposing a filter layer consisting of glass fiber only on the side of void layer of a porous membrane comprising a fine-pore layer having fine pores which have openings perpendicular to the surface of the membrane and a void layer. CONSTITUTION:A porous membrane made from organic polymer, comprising a fine-pore layer having pores which have openings substantially perpendicular to the surface of the membrane and which have average pore diameter of 0.2-10mum and an opening ratio of 35-95% and a void layer having pore diameters larger than those of pores of the fine-pore layer is formed. A filter layer consisting of glass fiber only is superposed on the side of the void layer of the porous membrane to obtain a filter medium for air filter. For superposing a filter layer on a porous membrane, when thermoplastic material is employed in forming a porous membrane, the porous membrane is heated in a spotlike manner and pressed onto the filter layer so that the membrane is easily contacted with the said layer.
