    • PURPOSE:To improve purifying efficiency by a catalyst by controlling a fuel injection amount to be adjusted based on a predetermined frequency and amplitude with a feedback study correction amount, stored at normal operation time, serving as the center when an air-fuel ratio measuring means is in trouble. CONSTITUTION:In a control circuit 16 during operation of an engine, output signals of various sensors are input to calculate collectively a correction coefficient of water temperature, intake air temperature, air-fuel ratio sensor, etc., and a basic fuel injection amount of the base from an intake air amount per 1 cylinder in an interruption program, and this amount is corrected by a correction coefficient, calculated by a main program, to calculate the actual injection amount and to drive-control an injector 4. Here, a value of the feedback correction coefficient is set to a value such that it is alternately changed with a predetermined value serving as the center in predetermined period and amplitude by an air-fuel ratio sensor output timer, when an air-fuel ratio sensor 8 is decided in trouble. In this way, air-fuel ratio is vibrated in predetermined amplitude in the vicinity of the theoretical air-fuel ratio to improve purifying efficiency of a catalyst.

    • PURPOSE:To improve purifying efficiency by comparing an air-fuel ratio sensor output with a basic signal through a waveform processing means whose time limit is controlled, generating an oscillation signal centered on integration value of an air-fuel ratio discriminating signal to add it to the air-fuel ratio discriminating signal for feedback control. CONSTITUTION:Basic injecting time is determined from an intake air amount Qa and engine speed Ne by a CPU 7 used in ECU 70 so as to add compensation of water temperature Tw, intake air temperature TA and acceleration increase. Besides, the output of an air-fuel ratio sensor 12 is compared with a reference signal 21 by a comparator 20 through a waveform processing circuit 26 whose time limit is controlled so as to integrate a rich/lean discrimination signal by means of an integrator 22, and the oscillation signals of amplitude and frequency corresponding to an engine running condition are generated by means of a generating circuit 24 with the output level centered. The discriminating signal is added to a signal proportionally amplified in a circuit 23 according to a driving condition for adding feedback compensation of air-fuel ratio. It is thus possible to make sufficient use of exhaust gas purifying ability of a catalytic converter.

    • PURPOSE:To maintain high exhaust gas purifying efficiency by generating after changing an oscillation signal which centers on integration value of an air-fuel discrimination signal by amplitude and frequency corresponding to a driving condition, and adding said signal to an air-fuel ratio signal for feedback-control. CONSTITUTION:Basic injecting timing is determined from an intake air amount Q, and engine speed Ne by a CPU 70 used in a controller 7 so as to add compensation of cooling water temperature Tw, intake air temperature TA and acceleration. Besides, the output from an air-fuel ratio sensor 12 is compared with a reference signal 21 in a comparing circuit 20, so as to discriminate rich/lean to be integrated by an integrator 22, and an oscillation signal of amplitude or frequency matching to an engine running condition is generated through an oscillation signal generating circuit 24 with the output level centered so as to add said signal to output from a proportional amplifying circuit 23 which proportionally processes a discriminating signal from the comparator 20 according to a driving condition. Based on this, feedback compensation for the air-fuel ratio is added. It is thus possible to sufficiently utilize exhaust gas purifying ability of a catalytic converter and maintain high exhaust gas purifying efficiency in a range of air fuel ratio wider than usual.
