CONSTITUTION:An annular pullout stopping groove 12 is formed in advance at fixed intervals on the outer peripheral face of a small diameter tube stock 11 formed by a hard material. Small and large diameter tube stock 11 and 13 are fitted each other, a core bar 14 is inserted into the small diameter tube stock 11 and passed through a die 15, and drawing is executed by drawing it. Thus, the inner diameter of the small diameter tube stock 11 is formed in the dimensional shape corresponding to the outer diameter of the core bar 14 and the outer diameter of the large diameter tube stock 13 is formed in the dimensional shape corresponding to the inner diameter of the die 15. One part of a soft material tube stock 13 easy to deform is subjected to plastic flowing to the pullout stopping groove 12 of the hard tube stock 11, and both are integrally fitted and the composite pipe 16 having large tensile strength is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To grind uniformly a roll with a grinding device made into a simple construction by using just one grinding wheel for a piece of the roll, grinding the entire width of the roll and rolling over the grinding surface near the transverse central part of the roll. CONSTITUTION:The grinding wheel G is started from the point A at the body end of the work roll 1 and the roll 1 is ground toward the transverse central part S thereof. The axial center of rotation of the grinding wheel G is inclined inward by an angle thetawith the normal of the roll surface and one side of the cup surface of the grinding wheel is pressed to the roll surface, then the wheel G is rotated according to the rotation of the roll 1. The wheel G is detached from the roll surface when the wheel G arrives at the point B near the transverse central part S of the roll. The grinding wheel G is then retreated to the position B' and rolled over to the position C' where the angle theta of inclination of the axial center of rotation of the wheel G is inverted and again the grinding wheel is pressed to the roll surface as shown by C. The roll is ground toward the point D at the other roll body end. The wheel arrived at the point D is moved in the opposite direction and the roll is again ground to the point C. The wheel is retreated and rolled over at the point P and the roll is ground between B and A.

    • PURPOSE:To grind efficiently a rolling roll without causing a nicking of whetstone by pressing a whetstone against the surface of a rotating roll and slanting the whetstone reversely to the rotating direction with respect to the direction of a rotating center of rolling roll. CONSTITUTION:In grinding a rolling roll 1 by pressing a whetstone 2 against the surface of rotating roll 1, the pressing direction of whetstone 2, with respect to the direction from a contact point between the whetstone 2 and the roll 1 to a rotating center C, is slanted so that the pressing force F has a component in the direction reverse to the rotating direction of roll 1 shown by the arrow. A degree of 5-40 deg. angle is preferable for a slanting angle theta of whetstone 2. In this way, a reaction against the pressing force of whetstone 2 is relaxed, and the reaction acting on the front-end lower part BM of whetstone 2 is reduced, and the nicking of whetstone 2 is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve a continuous compression simulating test for rolling a plate such as steel plate at a high accuracy, by making a rolling test piece passing reciprocatively between a pair of rolling rolls with the space therebetween adjusted by a hydraulic pressure as desired. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic oil is fed to a hydraulic cylinder 26 with a hydraulic controller 27 to lower an upper anvil 21. As a specified space between upper and lower rolling rolls 23 and 24 reaches a specified value, the space between both upper and lower anvils 21 and 22 is detected with a space detector 28 to stop the feeding of a rolling test piece W. The rolling test piece W having a max. thickness testing section at the center thereof is inserted between the upper and lower rolling rolls 23 and 24 and grasped with chucks 31 and 32. The test piece W is pulled through a working rod 29a with a hydraulic cylinder 29 to make the test art between the rolling rolls 23 and 24 and then, pulled reversely with a hydraulic cylinder 30 with the space therebetween narrowed by a required value. In this manner, the test piece W is reciprocated specified times to perform a rolling simulating test.
