    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a rotor with improved durability and reliability, by enhancing strength of a brazing joint part between a wheel and a shaft without increase in manufacturing man-hours, and to provide a turbine rotor for an exhaust turbocharger, in a brazing type rotor formed by brazing a wheel and the shaft. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for a rotor, the wheel in which blades are formed to an outer circumference of a disc part is joined with the bar-like shaft by brazing to constitute the rotor. A joint surface of the wheel and a joint surface of the shaft are arranged to be opposed to each other through brazing filler metal in a heating furnace, and infrared rays are emitted on a wheel side part to heat the joint face at 1000-1080°C and melt the brazing filler metal, and thereby the joint surfaces of the wheel and the shaft are joined with each other.
