摘要： PURPOSE:To automate the charging of spacer paper by sticking a double coated adhesive tape on a leader tape by pressing and sticking to the tip part of spacer paper and sticking a spacer paper on the strip by moving and pressing to the tip part of a metallic strip. CONSTITUTION:The tip of the strip 1 is detected with a detector 13 and stopped as keeping the tip in a position A. The tip of a coil 3a of spacer paper is detected with a detecter 14 and set in a prescribed position. The position of the adhesive tape 7b on the leader tape 7 is detected with a detector 15 and stored. A press roll 8 is pressed against the coil 3a of spacer paper and the second half part of the adhesive tape 7b is stuck to the tip of spacer paper by operating a cylinder 9. The tip of spacer paper 21 is stuck to the tip of the strip 1 with the press roll 8 by operating the cylinder 9 and the coiling of the strip 1 is started after the press roll 8 is retreated. The charging of spacer paper can be automated and it can contribute to laborsaving and improvement of production efficiency.

The viscosity of the rolling oil at the 1st pass or the 1st stand is preferable to be within the range of 3-10cSt (at 50.0 deg.C). When the viscosity is =10cSt, the glossiness of the obtained steel sheet is lowered. The draft at the 1st pass or the 1st stand is preferable to be about 5-25%.

Thus, the strip 3 is fixed to recombine the work roll and so a correct roll gap can be reproduced at the re-rolling reduction time of the work roll. Also, the recombined work roll can execute re-rolling reduction at the original strip rolling reduction position without the rolling reduction position being slipped and the plate thickness fluctuation of the strip can be prevented.

The recessed parts in a certain position on the surface of the steel strip 1 are successively squeezed with different projecting parts of the work roll 2 and rolling oil is not sealed in the recessed parts on the surface of the steel strip 1, so that the surface gloss is improved.

When the rolling speed and presence of burning flaw of the rolled stock rolled in such a way is investigated, it is found that the burning flaw is hard to be generated even at high rolling speed. In this way, the rolling speed is remarkably improved.
