摘要： PURPOSE:To accurately control the acid concn. in pickling tanks with continuous type band steel pickling equipment which continuously pickles and descales a hot rolled steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:The band steel S which is a traveling material to be treated is subjectecl to the pickling treatment in the pickling tanks 1, 2, 3 which are arranged in plural arrays in a progressing direction. A fresh acid liquid is supplied to acid liquid circulating systems of the respective pickling tanks from a supply piping 31 for cascade and branched supply pipes 32, 34, 36 from a supply pipe 23. The circulating tanks 11, 12, 13 are located in correspondence to the respective pickling tanks 1, 2, 3 and are connected by liquid supply pipes 20, 17, 14 and return pipings 21, 18, 15. These systems are so constituted that the waste acids discharged from the acid liquid system of the inlet side pickling tank 1 for the band steel are partly returned by the circulating line 38 to the acid liquid circulating systems of the pickling tanks on the upstream side viewed from the flow of the acid liquid. Consequently, the concns. of the HCL and FeCL2 of the acid liquid in the respective pickling tanks are maintained at an adequate distribution at all times even if the amt. of the steel sheets to be treated fluctuates.

摘要： PURPOSE:To avoid the direct contact of a steel sheet to be treated with weirs provided on the lower surface at the inlet side of a pickling vessel and to prevent the generation of scratching flaw on the steel sheet caused by the weirs in the improvement of the box type structural pickling vessel for removing oxidized layer on the surface of the hot rolled steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:The hot rolled steel sheet S being the material to be treated and sticking the oxidized layer on the surface is run into the pickling vessel from a left side in figure, and acid liquid is supplied from an inlet side nozzle 12 provided on the upper surface side of the steel sheet at the inlet side and shifted toward the outlet side according to advancing of the steel sheet. The new acid liquid 6 is always supplied in the vessel to promote the pickling work. In the vessel, further, the upper weir 7 and the lower weirs 3, 5 are arranged in the same interval, and by liquid stirring action with the weirs, the pickling is further promoted. In the lower weir 3 arranged at the lower surface side and at the inlet side of the steel sheet, an acid liquid supplying nozzle 20 is incorporated and since the acid liquid is made flow out toward the lower surface of the steel sheet from this nozzle 20, the steel sheet S is prevented from the direct contact with the upper surface of the lower weir 3 and the development of the scratching flaw on the lower surface of the steel sheet is surely prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the accelerating effect of pickling with respect to pickling equipment where the oxidize layer on the surface of a hot rolled plate is washed with acidic liquid by making the boundary layer of acidic liquid on the surface of the steel plate sufficiently thin without causing trouble in passing the steel plate. CONSTITUTION:A container closed by upper and lower surface box walls 1 is filled with pickling liquid. A lower surface weir 3 for supporting a steel plate 4 from below is fixed to the lower surface box wall 1. The steel plate 4 passes through the container and doing this time the oxidized layer on the surface of the plate is dissolved by chemical reaction with oxidizing liquid to wash and remove it. The positions of an upper surface weir 2 and the lower surface weir 3 to the steel plate in the travelling direction are staggered and there is no narrow gap between the upper surface weir 2 and the lower surface weirs 3. By the upper surface weir, the flow of acidic liquid moving with the steel plate 4 accompanying the surface of the steel plate 4 is restrained. Further, the equipment may be constituted so that the upper surface weir can be moved inclined in the travelling direction of the steel plate.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a black plate for tin plates and tin-free steel plates of Class T-5, T-4 tempering degrees stably by hot rolling specific low carbon Al killed steel, coiling the same at specific temp., and subjecting the same successively to pickling, cold rolling, continuous annealing and skin pass rolling. CONSTITUTION:A continuously cast ingot of low carbon Al killed steel of 0.01- 0.04% C (excluding 0.04%) is hot rolled, and is coiled at 500-560 deg.C. After said steel is pickled and cold rolled, the same is subjected to continuous annealing at temp. higher than the recrystallization temp. In succession, the annealed steel plate is subjected to skin pass rolling, whereby a black plate refined to Class T-5 for tin plates and tin-free steel plates is obtained. The coiling temp. after the hot rolling in said method is limited to 560-580 deg.C (excluding 560 deg.C), whereby a black plate of Class T-4 tempering degree for tin plates and tin-free steel plates is obtained. If the content of C in the steel and the coiling temp. after the hot rolling are specified in the above-mentioned way, the black plate having expected tempering degrees is obtained without any trouble in the cold rolling.

The N total out of the compsn. for said low carbon aluminum steel material is limited to 60-150ppm, and the material is subjected to the similar treatments, whereby a black plate of Class T-5 tempering degrees for tin plates and tin-free steel plates is obtained. If the content of C in the steel and the coiling temp. after the hot rolling are specified in the above-mentioned way, the black plate having expected tempering degrees is obtained without slip troubles and the like.
